To Whom it may concern;
My name is Sady Baggen-Mueller and I am a Landscape Architect. Since my early
childhood I am involved with horses, and now own six. Several years ago I was
introduced to Bradley through the horse community of Fort Langley. Bradley Just
started out his business as a Farrier and I was able to observe him over a
period of time. When I was in need of a new Farrier, I wanted to give Bradley an
opportunity to meet my horses. I liked his Quality of workman- ship, gentle
nature in handling the animals, and understanding of the owners role in his
work.
Bradley has corrected one animal what was missed over a period of years, (the horse appeared to be very Flat footed, with a very long toe. the sole had a
live appearance, so looked correct.) and conseuently lead to difficulty in movement for the animal.
Bradley's observation gave back the horses natural Gaits.
At times I also use the service of a specialized Veterinarian, such as
Dr.
Nicholas Kleider (leg surgeon).
One occasion Dr. Kleider diagnosed my Percheron
Stallion for lameness. Dr. Kleider asked me right from the beginning of his
examination of the animal, who my Farrier was. Since I recently changed to
Bradley, I was quite hesitant to answer, because I assumed no good. Instead Dr.
Kleider highly praised the workmanship done to this horse and advised me to keep
the Farrier who had worked on this horse. Strangely enough I am a client of
Dr. Kleider since 1987 and he has never given such a compliment to the people I
employed to work on any of my horses.
Bradley Saint John is very professional, on time for his appointments and takes
great pride in the improvement of the animal's health and needs, which shows
endless times in the amount of time he spends on each animal without any extra
charges for the "over time." He is a joy to employ as a Farrier, because of his
polite mannerism and respect for the animal and people he works for. I would
recommend Bradley as a Farrier to anyone who is looking for an honest man with
great skills, so he can expand his business through the vital word of mouth,
rather than advertisement.
Bradley is also an entrepreneur, innovative with his ideas and always looking
for a new marketing opportunity. I wish Bradley all the best to become who he
wants to be and to succeed either in the Farrier line of work or his marketing
business.
With best regards
S. Baggen-Mueller

Note: from Bradley;
A number of months ago a very close friend of my wife's, called me up and asking
if I had time to hear about her problem. 'Of course C.B. what is it?' Well, her
horse over the course of the year with her new Farrier (who was charging her
double for the work - so was thought to be an expert), had allowed her horse to
become severely toed out - hind feet. (most horses are hind end base narrow, and
consequently somewhat toed out). This horse was not only refusing to work but
was mostly refusing to come out of the stall. C.B. informed me that she had near
pleaded with her farrier to do something, and his response over the phone was
'It is his confirmation and nothing can be done for him.'
The call took me a three hour round trip for a single horse, but as a favor to a
friend, was glad to.
Upon inspection, agreed, that this horse is not right, Pulled the shoes, did a
proper trim, and as each foot hit the ground, a remarkable difference could be
seen. I then proceeded to make new shoes for his hind, and reset the front
shoes. After I was done, a girl at the barn had a foal for me to trim, and I was
thankful, as that would pay for my Gas on this trip. During the trim on the
foal, C.B. took her horse to the indoor, for a lunge, and returned to tell me
that the trainer there that has known her horse for years, remarked, 'Wow, C.B.
I have never seen him move so well."
Of course the temptation is to blow on my fist, and rub it on my chest, but the
fact is, all I do, is apply the knowledge I learned, about sound Trimming and
Shoeing Practices. Plain and simple. Medial Lateral balance for that foot. Get
the dorsal hoof wall angle to correspond to the central angle, of the first
Phalanx. Always looking to ease the break over. - I see far to many long toes
and under run heels. These are going to be nothing but, painful, navicular
horses in their aged years.
Epilog; After an especially rainy period, with the horse frolicking in the mud,
he pulled a shoe, so I returned to replace it, and having to recoup at least my
gas cost. C.B. realized My travel was extensive and she found a competent local
Farrier, to our mutual agreement, and satisfaction.
